In depth

Verdict

The two Ballydoyle entries, JOAN OF ARC and Queen's Speech, are drawn together on the outside. Seamie Heffernan prefers the former, which is hardly surprising as she's probably the best-bred filly in training being by Galileo out of a mare who has produced three Group 1 winners with her first six winning foals including Gleneagles and Marvellous. Queen's Speech is by American Pharoah and half-sister to four winners though she's mainly bred for Dirt. Sunniyra is by Zoffany and the first foal of a 1m2f winner while Spinning Moon is related to four winners though only cost 25,000gns. Of those with experience, Dagoda may prove best after a fine opening run at Leopardstown where she belied her 150/1 SP.
