Verdict

Darwins Fox and Fourni have both been in winning form over hurdles and the latter won a bumper in September and is progressing fast. Granddukeoftuscany makes a belated debut for Ballydoyle but is up against his stablemate GYPSY KING, who looks the one to beat. He'd looked quite moderate last year but there wasn't much wrong with his neck second to Zafayan at Naas and the third, Fog Of War, won on Thursday giving the form a solid look. Ode To Psyche ran easily her best race to date when stepped up to this trip at Cork where she was only headed close home by Just Gorgeous, who could give the form a boost earlier in the day. Dermot Weld's newcomer Emerita has plenty of winning relatives and it would be no shock if she were to get involved in the finish.
