In depth

Verdict

FAME AND GLORY should have a nice prep race for the Irish Champion Stakes in which he finished runner-up to Sea The Stars last year. He's also engaged in the Juddmonte at York and showed his versatility and class with a superb victory over Sariska in the Coronation Cup last time. He's impossible to oppose with two likely pacemakers and Precious Gem, who had a neck to spare over Choose Me in a Listed event at Limerick in June and continues to improve, looks the one for the Exacta despite being 3lbs worse off.
