Supernovae has twice been beaten at odds-on but hasn't done much wrong and should be opening her account soon. POWER TO PLEASE was also at short odds when beaten by the outsider Shifting at Gowran where she failed to settle. She had earlier finished in front of today's rival Ebazan, who flopped on heavy ground later, over 1m2f here and with the better ground and longer trip likely to suit she looks the one to be on. Place Vendome has shown promise on his opening run at Leopardstown in November and started favourite on his return to action at Dundalk last month but fluffed his lines.
