Verdict

High Definition won a Group 2 here as a juvenile but was beaten three times behind Hurricane Lane in four starts last year. Georgeville ended last season landing a Leopardstown Listed contest over this trip while the smart hurdler Jason The Militant is unbeaten in two starts under Flat Rules though could do with some rain. The latter had Layfayette almost four lengths behind over 1m4f on testing going at Naas in October but Noel Meade's charge dropped back to this trip to land a Listed race at Naas last month. HELVIC DREAM had just four starts last season, finishing behind Broome in the first three then beating him by a short-head in the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup over this track and trip. He's another who would prefer more rain but he's taken to overcome his penalty.
