Russian Soul scored at Tipperary on Friday but though usually thereabouts he's probably a shade below the best sprinters. SEA SIREN came to Ballydoyle from Australia where he was a multiple Group 1 winning sprinter. He made his debut for the yard at Royal Ascot and didn't run badly behind Lethal Force before a comfortable success over Russian Soul at Fairyhouse. There's much more to come and he'll start a short-priced favourite though as usual Slade Power will prove a worthy opponent. He was in front of him at Ascot and again ran superbly behind Lethal Force in the July Cup but conceding 6lb to the likely favourite may prove beyond him. Hamza was well beaten in the July Cup but ran much better behind Heeraat at Newbury so could snatch a place.
