Verdict

The 2018 Irish Derby hero Latrobe has only won once subsequently, beating Guaranteed over 1m4f at Leopardstown, but is rarely beaten far. He wasn't at his best over 1m6f here in the Irish St Leger behind Search For A Song and both may get tapped for pace if the ground remains quick. FLEETING (NAP) is also probably better over a bit further but had enough speed to be beaten in a photo over the trip in the Group 1 Prix de L'Opera at Longchamp in October. She should be fully wound up for this and looks the one to beat. Leo De Fury competed at a high level after easily winning his first two starts and the lightly-raced son of Australia looks certain to have a good season.
