Verdict
This may rest between BEWITCHED and Snaefell, who met in the Group 3 Phoenix Sprint here a month ago which the latter won. Michael Halford's six-year-old won this a year ago and has a real affinty with the track but Bewitched has more scope and though she has a length to make up she is entitled to another chance. Croisultan is always to be feared at this level though the fact that he has never won on the track despite seven appearances is off-putting. Air Chief Marshall landed the Group 3 Minstrel Stakes over 7f here in July and is probably best at that trip but Santo Padre is a consistent specialist sprinter and he looked comfortable in Group 3 company when third behind Astrophysical Jet last time.
