Madeira Classic showed potential in his first season and started favourite on his reappearance over 1m2f at Leopardstown on his return but could only stay on at the one pace. The longer trip should suit as it most certainly will for Sixty Eight Guns, a winner over the distance on fast ground at Wexford and a good fourth over 1m2f at Naas last time. Cannot Give looks too high in the weights but Calle Aneto is quite well handicapped and ran well behind Glamorous here last month. ARMINTA showed nothing in her first three runs before making her handicap debut at Roscommon where she ran well enough behind Dearest Girl to suggest a race of this class would be within her compass.
