UK-based horses have won the last four of these including Ice Age a year ago. He's continued in excellent form and though 9lb higher is no forlorn hope to repeat the process. David O'Meara has a fine record with his runners here and both Summerghand, five times a winner since April, and last year's second Al Qahwa, are greatly respected. Michael Wigham places his horses expertly and GLENAMOY LAD (NAP), who completed a double at the backend of last season, attracted some support in the Stewards' Cup on his return to action. He failed to get the run of the race at Goodwood but wasn't beaten far and this race will have been earmarked so he gets the nod. Urban Beat only had half-a-length to spare over Blairmayne when completing a hat-trick over this course and distance but had something in hand and should confirm the places. Miss Power has won three times over the minimum but never over this trip though she's on a very fair mark and was returning from over a year off when a very good fourth behind Lost Treasure here a couple of weeks ago. Rattling Jewel was originally well out of the handicap but beat a big field here on Friday and has to be of interest.
