Kerkeni wasn't far behind in third so it's significant that John Oxx is willing to take on the runner-up again while the winner's trainer is represented by the well-connected Spring Focus. Another son of Galileo, Juniper Tree, looks the Ballydoyle second string but Dermot Weld's horses are going well and the filly Carla Bianca is worth noting for the future though she'll probably need further.
