Verdict

Jessica Marcialis has won this for the past two years including on Beau Michael a year ago but is absent here and Liz Lalor takes the ride this time around. Her mount hasn't won since but is 7lb lower so has to be considered to complete the double. These races are usually run at a good gallop which should suit Alice Mills and her partner Wither Hills, who scored over 2m at Dundalk in March. ZEFTAN won the Ladies Derby here last month and though below that form at Navan last weekend he's only 2lb higher and should prove good enough to get back to winning ways. Blue Ridge Lane has been in very good form recently and, as this is his trip, he will be difficult to keep out of the frame.
