Verdict

Gordon Lord Byron won this in 2015/16 but isn't in that kind of form nowadays. Flight Risk is also a course and distance winner and got no sort of run on his hat-trick bid here last time while Hey Gaman completed an early season double when landing a Longchamp Group 3 and it will be a surprise if he's not in contention. His fellow UK raider Safe Voyage goes from strength to strength and any rain would greatly aid his cause though ROMANISED, who would have finished very much closer to Lord Glitters in the Queen Anne at Ascot but for interference, can take the drop in trip in his stride and land this prestigious event. Richard Fahey brought Mr Lupton here to land a Group 2 over 6f but he's never raced at this trip in 40 starts.
