In depth

Verdict

This has attracted a very strong field headed by the very progressive three-year-old Time To Reason. Johnny Murtagh's charge completed his double in superb style at Fairyhouse despite an 8lb rise for his earlier victory there. However, he's been raised a massive 14lb and this all-aged handicap is much tougher. Indrahar was conceding him 5lb when beaten just over two lengths last time and will be only slightly better off thanks to a subsequent victory at Cork though she's expected to get closer. MCGUIGAN completed a double earlier this month and though beaten at Killarney on Wednesday can race from a lower mark here and gets the nod to return to winning ways. An Saighdiur is in superb form and any further rain would greatly aid his cause though he's not certain to beat Have A Nice Day, who was conceding him 1lb when narrowly beaten here last month. Plough Boy scored over the course and distance a couple of weeks ago but is now on his highest ever mark.
