Verdict
Aidan O'Brien has won seven of the last eight of these. HIAWATHA has been headed in the closing stages in both starts to date over this trip but Ryan Moore keeps faith with him and different tactics may be employed. The stable also run Covent Garden, a full brother to Johannes Vermeer and four other winners, and the 650,000gns purchase Hippodrome, who is by Galileo out of dual 1000 Guineas runner-up Lightning Thunder. Fleetfoot was beaten behind two smart performers over 7f here last time as was the €350,000 buy Sea Legend while Valiant King was staying on behind the selection when both made their debuts at Killarney last month.
