In depth

Verdict

Thunder Eclipse was a very good third in what looked a decent maiden here earlier this month and is certain to go well with normal improvement. Pinar Del Rio showed good pace throughout at Naas and is another who will have benefited from the experience. The Acropolis is from the first crop of Churchill and a half-brother to a 7f winner though the one who catches the eye on breeding is BARUD. A 165,000gns yearling, he's a half-brother to three winners and should have enough pace for this. Canters Well is by Caravaggio though his dam has produced several middle-distance winners while Master Of Peace cost £140,000 and is speedily-bred.
