Joseph O'Brien has picked up a nice ride here on Boulay, whose attempt to make all at Leopardstown was only thwarted in the final furlong. Melodie D'Amour has a big weight and is still a maiden but Glen Carroll's presence in the saddle is a bonus and she can go well without conceding weight to SUN DISC. Dessie Hughes' charge scored over hurdles at Down Royal last month and followed up with a very smooth success under today's rider on the Flat at the same track. He's progressing nicely and a 9lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a hat-trick. On The Loose created a shock when beating Badger Or Bust at Listowel but that was on heavy ground and conditions here will be very different. The lightly-raced Elizabeth Coffee can go well while Acushladear would be respected if getting a run from his reserve spot.
