Verdict

PROFOUND BEAUTY won this a year ago and returned better than ever to beat Age Of Aquarius at Leopardstown at the end of last month. The runner-up had previously been narrowly beaten by Harbinger at Chester and went on to run a brilliant race in the Gold Cup at Ascot so the winner's performance was something special and she will take the world of beating. Roses For The Lady is a worthy opponent and last year's Irish Oaks runner-up returned after a long break to easily land a Listed event at Navan. There is plenty more to come from John Oxx' filly and she gets all the allowances here. Satapadi easily landed a Doncaster maiden and didn't quite see out the two miles of the Henry II Stakes at Sandown so needs to improve again but fellow English raider Tactic looked well at home over today's trip on fast ground at York and should go well. Popmurphy is a decent type who hasn't quite proved himself at this level and looks up against it.
