In depth

Verdict

HUDSON RIVER is by Galileo and the first foal of the top-class sprinter Mecca's Angel. Iowa is related to several Group winners and like Wembley is another son of Galileo. The latter is the fifth foal of a mare who has produced winners with her first four offspring including Group 1 winner Johannes Vermeer. Ace Aussie cost E125,000 and should be suited by the trip though will stay further in time while Lust is by Fastnet Rock out of a mare who produced a 7f winner with her first foal to race. Mac Swiney is a half-brother to a 1m winning two-year-old and Monaasib is a half-brother to four winners at around this trip.
