      Verdict

      Aidan O’Brien sent out last year’s winner and Tenebrism steps back up in distance and takes on older horses having won the Prix Jean Prat over 7f here last month. Saffron Beach is another proven at this level having returned to winning ways at Ascot recently but her best form has been on faster ground and a chance is taken on PEARLS GALORE. Trained in Ireland for local owners, a repeat of last season’s second in the Group 1 Prix de la Foret at Longchamp should see Paddy Twomey’s mare go close. Malavath and Sibila Spain have both been well beaten in trips over to Newmarket this year while Kennella and Goldistyle are Listed winners upped in class.
