        Verdict

        Prolific Group 1 winner LAURENS placed in the Lockinge before a below par effort in the Queen Anne at Ascot last time. She won twice at the highest level in this country last year and Karl Burke’s filly is a cut above the other UK raiders if back to her best. East placed in the French 1000 Guineas before disappointing in the Irish equivalent as did Qabala though the latter has subsequently ran better in the Falmouth at Newmarket when finishing in front of Beshaayir. The latter’s stablemate Move Swiftly is a Group 2 winner at Ascot trying her luck at the highest level for the first time while Pascal Bary’s unbeaten filly Obligate is also upped in class on the back of a Group 2 success. With You could prove a threat having won last year’s renewal in good style though had found Laurens too good on a couple of occasions before that.
