Verdict

From this disappointing turnout, we will side with Garlogs ahead of Pokermilliondotcom, but the other three are also worthy of a mention. The selection runs now for Richard Guest and Willie McKay following his pleasing enough second in a selling stakes race at Warwick three days ago for Mick Channon. That was not a good race but neither is this so, a long a he has got over his exertions, he looks the one to beat. Pokermilliondotcom was sent off as favourite for that race but took a long time to figure out what was required that day before then staying on late, albeit it at a respectful distance so he has a few lengths to find now. You can certainly make a case for the others based on breeding but, unless the betting says something radically different, we will stick with Garlogs.
