Verdict
It's a couple of years since Sir Harry Ormesher last visited the winner's enclosure but he's not badly treated on his best form and showed he was in good heart with a recent second to the classy Oscar Whisky in a jumper's bumper at Kempton. Corkage must go on the short-list as he's only 3lb higher than when a close second over C&D 10 days ago. The feeling persists, however, that he is better over shorter trips. Kangaroo Court is another who has yet to prove conclusively that he stays 3m and ALLOW ME is also trying the distance for the first time. The latter is very lightly-raced, however, and got better the further he went over 2m3f at Catterick last time. He may be capable of further improvement so gets the vote.
