      Verdict

      Resolute Man failed to land the odds when only third carrying a penalty at Newbury on his reappearance. ONSLOW GARDENS returns to action having also returned a beaten favourite over a longer trip on slow ground at Haydock in September but he went close at Ascot before that with subsequent Newcastle runner-up Back See Daa behind so the Hannon charge gets the vote having been gelded since. Laoisman disappointed last time but the newcomer Game Set is a brother to a winner so is worth a second look.
