        Verdict

        Not the best of getting out races with plenty holding claims in a moderate but competitive contest. Among those with claims are recent Beverley winner Catch The Cat, College Hippie who won a maiden at Leicester last time and Birdwatching who should be better suited by the going than of late. Meanwhile neither of Eric Alston's pair, Aguila Loco and Indian Shores, are certain to handle the ground but would have chances if doing so.
