Verdict

Michael Chapman claimed Tayarat after the six-year-old demolished a similar field to this at Ludlow when he could have won much more easily. He has plenty of weight here though he'll still be fancied to complete a hat-trick but KING'S COUNSEL is taken to put his run to an end. David O'Meara's charge was in winning form on the Flat during the summer and was having only his second start since July when sixth behind Fujin Dancer at Catterick last month after leading for much of the way. He should be at his peak for this and can return to winning ways. Lady Willa scored twice on very heavy ground before running way out of her depth in a Listed contest at Exeter. She's getting plenty of weight from her main rivals but the quicker ground is a concern. Tri Nations' last nine starts have been in sellers and one or two of these look too good for him.
