Verdict
Malpas plotted a wide course last time at Carlisle but has been found wanting when running over this sort of trip in the past. Though a winner here in the autumn, Okavango Delta hasn’t run up to that form since. Fringill Dike has been well beaten in three runs in handicaps and may not have finished ahead of Galahad Threepwood here five weeks ago had the latter not departed three out. The penny finally appears to have dropped with PRAIRIE WOLF (NAP) as he was always travelling best at Catterick last month. He is 9lb higher in this better race but probably worth sticking with. Give Me A Cuddle won here two runs ago but ran poorly at Taunton next time dropped to 2m.
