Verdict

Premier Des Marais came back to form over 3m2f at Huntingdon last month, while Snake Charmer won over 3m1f at Warwick last time. The latter also holds an engagement at Newbury, however. Go Amwell stays well but is closely matched with Awesome Freddie on their run together behind Stow at Newbury. Doctor Foxtrot won at Ffos Las in January but was readily outpaced at Sandown subsequently and has yet to prove he stays this far. Mac Aeda is probably capable of building on his Catterick success but faces no easy task at the weights, while Bellflower Boy has also incurred the wrath of the handicapper after completing a hat-trick in lesser company at the end of last year. FIRM ORDER loves this ground and came right back to his best at Sandown last month. This longer trip isn't a problem and he is probably the one to beat.
