Verdict

WINTERED WELL (NAP) proved a revelation stepped up in trip at Catterick on Tuesday and won by 12 lengths. This is a slightly better race and he has a penalty but the champion-elect keeps the partnership intact and he'll be tough to beat. Charlie Cook has been threatening to win a race like this but there remains a slight doubt over his stamina over 3m. Rocklim won over the trip at Musselburgh, however, and San Telm showed signs of a revival here in January – he comfortably holds Mercers Court on the form book.
