Verdict
Risk And Roll was engaged in the 4.05 Newbury yesterday. Silva Eclipse came right back to form over course and distance 10 days ago and his yard won this 12 months ago. Imphal and SULTANS PRIDE continue to defy the handicapper, however, and shouldn’t be far away again. The former has gone up 4lb for landing the odds at Wincanton but the latter has only been raised 3lb after completing back-to-wins here last month and Theo Gillard’s claim takes care of that. The selection’s stablemate Teescomponents Lad will enjoy a return to a longer trip while Copper Coin has been rested since a below-par run at Sandown in December. Ratfacemcdougall is back on a winning mark but may be better on right-handed tracks.
