Verdict

Former champion hurdler ROCK ON RUBY wasn't entirely convincing on his chase debut at Plumpton and is jumping fences late in life. He may also have to make his own running in this match but will surely have too much pace for the reluctant Mr Mole, who made several errors when well beaten at Ascot last time and very much needs things to go his way to get his head in front.
