Paul Hanagan is on board JUSTONEFORTHEROAD out of the three Richard Fahey options which suggests he is the pick of those runners. At the bottom of the weights and with trip and ground to suit he could be the one to side with in good heart after victory at York. Thats A Fret with Richard Hughes in the saddle isn't sent over from County Meath without a chance and is worth a market check. Iver Bridge Lad has claims for a place at a bigger price having finished fourth in the Bengough Stakes two starts ago, but Kiwi Bay and Docofthebay potentially have marks a shade too high. Smarty Socks last won over course and distance in August and is worth consideration for a yard among the winners. Axiom was behind Smarty Socks in that race but will enjoy the cut in the ground and Kieren Fallon is booked to ride. Damien hasn't won since debut but did well to finish second behind Fathsta at York last time and this provides encouragement he could put in a good run again here. Harry Patch is unexposed over this trip but enjoys it round this course and if handling the step-up in distance has a chance. Osteopathic Remedy has never won off a mark this high but is considered despite this after a decent win on heavy ground at Newcastle most recently. A tough race to judge but Justonefortheroad gets the marginal call.
