In depth

Verdict

Handtheprizeover won a decent handicap over course and distance at the end of December but blotted his copybook when jumping poorly and being pulled up when favourite at Kempton. Relax has claims on his second to Pete The Feat in the Mandarin Chase at Newbury and the slight drop in distance will suit while Off The Ground is fitted with a hood in an attempt to fulfil his undoubted potential. Hunters Lodge, Kaituna and Bounds And Leaps should be thereabouts but John Wade continues to place HARRIS HAWK to good effect and the Catterick winner can continue his upward curve by landing this. Crafti Bookie should be winning soon and looks best of the rest with Vincitore struggling for consistency and now tried in blinkers.
