      Verdict

      Qeyaadah is clearly in good heart but SUN LOVER looks a better bet. He performed with credit in a tougher race than this at York last time and if granted a clearer run here, can make amends here for the in-form Roger Varian stable. Bertiewhittle has yet to hit form this year while Ghalib was very disappointing over course and distance last time. Toofi was staying on well at Haydock and is worth another try at this distance though hasn’t won since his two-year-old season. Claim The Roses is of some interest dropped back to 7f and has each way prospects along with Classic Seniority, who showed some signs of coming to hand when last seen finishing third behind Sun Lover.
