In depth

Verdict

MONSIEUR JUMBO made a promising start when beaten only a neck at Ayr. Kevin Ryan’s grey colt looks the one to beat in this if handling today’s soft ground. Grifter will find this easier than last month’s debut at York and is preferred to Sun Rising while Last Crusader is entered in the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes and makes more appeal than fellow newcomers Satellite Call and Global Wisdom.
