Verdict
Piceno beat Pashan Garh and Four Winds in better company at Newmarket a week ago but whether he can carry top weight to victory off a higher mark remains to be seen. FALCON'S REIGN is preferred, despite dropping down in trip, as he's at his best in testing ground and also won a higher grade handicap at Newmarket last week. Shirley Teasdale and Jason Hart won their respective divisions of this contest last year and the latter looks to have the best chance today on the veteran Beckermet. Bountybeamadam won a maiden race on fast ground at Chepstow last time but both Royal Holiday and Ted's Brother make more appeal in this better company.
