          Verdict

          An open looking handicap to conclude the card and we'll take Never Without Me to land it from Misaro. The selection is on a winning mark at present, acts on this ground and is drawn on one side of the track, which should help. This is his optimum trip and the 5lb claim gives him a low enough racing weight to carry so we'll suggest him. Misaro, on the other hand, carries topweight, but that is as a result of some ultra-consistent form, topped off with a win at Salisbury last time. A 6lb penalty will make this tough enough but he has the ability to go very close again. Stablemate Best One has also been firing this year, winning at both Lingfield and Brighton earlier and going well from similar mark's to todays on his last two starts so he is respected. Making Music completed a hat-trick last year on fast ground but tends to need a run or two, so we will oppose. Comptonspirit would not be winning out of turn and just seems to fail to see out her races, and The Bear would probably want rain to be seen to best effect. A fascinating end to the evening and Never Without Me gets the tentative nod.
