Verdict

FIDUX has been on the go for a while but has been pretty consistent and may just get away with today’s going as long as there isn’t any further rain. He finished 11 lengths ahead of Mr Muldoon at Haydock three weeks ago. Mance Rayder was a winner here in March but, being 4lb out of the handicap, is 24lb higher, though did run well at Catterick last month. Two For Gold is only a pound higher than when successful at Warwick in March and hails from the yard that won this 12 months ago. He hasn’t raced since unseating David Bass in the Topham at Aintree in April but has a touch of class. The Wolf has also been absent since April but is preferred to stablemate Jett and Kauto Riko.
