      Verdict

      A CERTAIN ROMANCE is likely to be a warm order here and is hard to oppose after an excellent opening run behind the well-regarded Rocky Ground at Yarmouth two weeks ago. Vino Collapso's fourth at Ripon is the best form on offer among the others with experience so the one for forecast-backers might be David Brown's newcomer Burning Dawn, who changed hands for 80,000gns earlier this year and is related to a couple of classy performers in the States, though how she'll cope with the soft ground is anybody's guess.
