In depth
Formwatch
Eastern Purple (IRE) Likes to make the running and is a very capable performer on his day, but the burden of topweight may not be ideal his style of running and he may set the race up for something else.
Marweh Ran respectably on his reappearance here last month, but all his best efforts in his native France have come with some cut in the ground.
Ellens Lad (IRE) Very speedy on his day and was not disgraced last time at York, when second to Honesty Fair, but he is yet to win beyond the minimum trip and needs some cut to be seen at his bets.
Guinea Hunter (IRE) Although not the most consistent of performers he is very capable on his day, and proved his well being when landing the Stewards Cup last time out. Any rain would significantly add to his chance though.
Smokin Beau In fine form at present and looks sure to give a good account of himself, sure to go well.
Brevity Looked to feeling the effect of a long hard season last time but he has his ideal conditions and his connections would not run him if he was not still up to the challenge.
Afaan (IRE) Won at Newbury over the minimum trip last month but is not one to place too much trust in.
Smart Predator Likes this track and wins in his turn but on the whole he looks to have a little to prove here.
Magic of Love In good form at present, but is on a long losing run and hard to see adding to her tally here.
Perfect Peach Another whose wins to runs record is hardly inspiring and she has never won off a mark this high.
Candleriggs (IRE) Holds good early pace and is very capable on his day, but he has not shown a great deal of relish for a battle in the closing stages of his races this term and may need a softer surface to figure.
Boleyn Castle (USA) Made most to land a competitive Handicap at Epsom last month, but he is not sure to repeat that effort off a 6lb higher mark.
Further Outlook (USA) Seems to be a little out of sorts at present and is best watched.
Jessica's Dream (IRE) Travels really well in her races and is at the top of her game at present and the 5lb rise for her recent Sandown win looks fair, she is defiantly one to place highly on the short-list.
Ambitious Capable of a bold show but recent efforts give her a little to find with a few of these.
Jodeeka Very tough and mainly consistent but she needs to put a below par effort last time in the Great St Wilfred behind her to figure here.
Ho Leng (IRE) Shaped as if on the way back last time, but he is running out of excuses and has not won for two years now.
Abbajabba In fair form but needs plenty of cut in the ground to be seen at his best.
Salviati (USA) Consistent sort but he may find life a little hard here.
Indian Prince (IRE) Has a bit to find with Jessica's Dream after their meeting at York and is best watched.
Seven No Trumps Conditions should suit but he has a little to prove after some lack-lustre efforts of late.
Night Flight Another who has not made the most of his opportunities and seems to place prospects at best here.
