Haajes won this last year from exactly the same mark and is right back in the mood to follow up though the ground may just be a bit lively for him. It was difficult not to be impressed by TOM SAWYER at Sandown and though a 10lb rise looks excessive he began in handicaps off a mark of 85 and has only just got over breathing difficulties. He gets the nod in a wide open handicap in which Drift And Dream, who will love the fast ground, will make a bold bid to add to a recent Lingfield success. Flash City has won just once from 18 starts but he's been running well and Johnnie Murtagh will give him every chance while Richard Hughes' presence on the lightly-raced Cheworee could be significant on her first start over the minimum trip.
