In depth

Verdict

Chanson D'Amour was very green at Ripon and improvement is likely but will be required to prevent KODA LEGEND making it third-time lucky. Ralph Beckett’s charge probably came up against a useful juvenile when second at Goodwood and is learning with experience. Ebro River showed promise at Newmarket and rates a danger while Godolphin’s Chanteiro is a half-brother to a winner in France, though will benefit from an extra furlong after this.
