Verdict

Storting handled soft ground well enough at Carlisle and doesn’t look badly treated on his handicap debut, despite top weight. Silkstone went close at Leicester but that was over 1m2f and today’s conditions would be a concern. It would be no surprise to see Mustadun bounce back from a poor run at Goodwood but cheekpieces are a plus for GINGER FOX and his win on good to soft at Yarmouth last year offers encouragement that he’ll handle this surface. Lightning Attack is sure to go on the ground and, though 0-11, is unlikely to be far away again.
