Verdict

Emperor Commodos ran a cracker following a lengthy absence when second to Cardinal Walter over 2m here last month. He must go well if reproducing that run over this longer trip but Cardinal Walter's trainer Nicky Henderson should know where he stands with CLONDAW BANKER. The six-year-old takes a big drop in class having been outpaced again over 2m at Cheltenham last month. Dual bumper winner A Vos Gardes should be capable of better while Vintage Vinnie wasn't disgraced in a handicap at Cheltenham six weeks ago and is another having his sights lowered. Bekkensfirth may be the pick of the remainder.
