In depth

Verdict

Chic Theatre improved on his debut over hurdles when second at Towcester last week but The Unit was a shade disappointing when a beaten favourite at Huntingdon last month, though should know more today. DIVINE SPEAR was beaten by Baoulet Delaroque here last month but that one has gone on to complete his hat-trick and Nicky Henderson's charge has also won since himself at Ludlow. He should be capable of defying his penalty today, though Kk Lexion still has plenty of scope and possibly found a longer trip too far here last time.
