Verdict

Wild Hope won off a 3lb higher mark last season but has not set the world alight in two runs this term and faces a stiff task giving weight to the three-year-olds. Fanzone ran poorly on his first start for new connections here six week ago and True Believer was only third at Hamilton after a promising reappearance over track and trip but Turn On The Charm can build on his third over course and distance and Hibernian Warrior makes his handicap debut on a decent mark after placing at Newmarket and Lingfield last year. HLAITAN finished ahead of Thursday’s Sandown winner Gypsy Whisper when third last time at Newbury. He’s only a pound higher and the fitting of cheekpieces can see him finally open his account.
