Verdict
Our Gabrial certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn here but it remains to be seen if the step up to a mile will suit. Hartnell is proven over the trip, however, and may not be badly treated on his handicap debut but Desert Society has more to do than when scoring at Brighton and Mr Gallivanter only won by a short-head at Hamilton. ACT OF CHARITY overcame trouble in-running to win easily at Pontefract and may be capable of finding the necessary improvement to double his tally here, though Rock 'N' Roll Star finished third when Hartnell was second at Thirsk in August and is 11lb better off. Ahoy There got off the mark at Nottingham last week but carries a penalty in this.
