Verdict
Progressive last year, both Empirestateofmind and General Lee return to action though the latter drops back down in trip. Star Shield won a couple of times at Newcastle over the winter and finished third at the latter track earlier in the month but MOSTAWAA (NAP) will be sharper for a recent reappearance at Kempton and, racing off a 5lb lower mark than when beaten less than a length in last year’s renewal, Heather Main’s charge should go close again. A Boy Named Ivy made a winning comeback last season and can race off the same mark today.
