In depth

Verdict

MISTER DON has more or less run up to the mark off which he won at Kelso last month in his last two. His young rider claims 8lb in this and he looks the one to beat. High Counsel is the only other with recent worthwhile form but he ran poorly at Southwell after finishing second at Stratford. The remaining quartet have an awful lot to prove at present.
