    Verdict

FLEETING STRIKE looks to have a good chance of opening his account. He was beaten only a short-head at Newbury recently and that looks stronger form than Midnight Mojito's earlier second at Redcar. The latter has since been well beaten at Beverley while the likes of The Tin Man, First Excel and Ski Blast made little impression on their respective debuts. Baroot showed little last year but Mike De Kock's 200,000gns purchase may well be capable of better this season.
